Welcome! I am Shannon, the owner and baker at Sunny Day Baked Goods! I live and work in Seattle with my beautiful wife, Anna, and our adorable cat. Abbi. I am a professional gardener by day, and an avid baker at night and on weekends. 

When I started this business I wanted to choose a name that would catch the attention of my customers, but also held fast to the locality of the business. All it took was a look at my wife to come up with 'Sunny Day'. I always call her my Sunshine amongst the Seattle rain, and thought that is exactly what most Seattleites look for in the rainy season, a sunny day! 

Sunny Day Baked Goods is a passion project of mine, from coming up with new recipes, sourcing local ingredients, and baking every loaf with care.
